March 17th 2007, the Team at Leisure Boating Port Stephens celebrated the first anniversary of operation with the addition of a Sunrunner 3700SE and a brand new Black Watch 28 Express Sport Fish to their existing Sunrunner 3300.

This club will now operate three vessels and cater to members requiring not only Sport Cruisers, but a new market segment with off-shore fishing interests.

Phil Badura, principal of the Franchise has high expectations for fast membership growth on the new Black Watch, which is rigged for off-shore fishing, carries the latest navigation aids and has the refinements and comfort of a Sport Cruiser – accommodation for four, microwave, enclosed toilet and shower, hot and cold water, deck shower, flat screen TV and DVD etc. Powered by a single Yanmar Diesel stern drive and bow thruster, it will be interesting to see the performance figures and the fuel consumption?

The first container containing the Southbeach and two Aussie Whalers left the Gold Coast on the 3rd March 2007. The balance of the order will be shipped throughout March. The boats have been purchased by a major developer in Hangzou and will be provided to the owners of 17 deluxe waterfront villas. In addition to the boats, AusMarine will also supply davits manufactured by Southern Stainless, another Gold Coast company.
